Great Find! Baker's Rack!

WOW!  I can thank my daughter for this find!  We had a garage sale a few weeks ago.  She went around the block to see what others had for sale.  She came back, and said I need your phone, so I can take a pic of something you'd like!  So off she went, and this is what I had to look at when she came back!  : )  My mom was here, so she kept down the fort while we went for a ride!  Not bad for $15!  SWEET!!  I can just see all the possibilities now!  I need to decide where it's going in my craft space and how I will utilize it!  Thanks babe!  : )

Jamie's swaps!

I had mentioned there were 7 groups of swappers!  I didn't get in 2 of the groups, but I knew someone that was!  Jamie Hurley - someone I met at Leadership a few years ago!

Hilton Head - Day 4!

Here we are on our last day!  : (  We really enjoyed ourselves and had a great time!  Short & sweet!  It was time to return to the hustle and bustle of life and our children!

  

I had done this on the beach!  It says it all! 

Thought this was neat!  It was a little room at the Savannah, GA airport.  There was a soldier in the room as we walked past.  THANKS to all of our military that serve our country so proudly!  We even saw a young mom with her 2 young children that said a sad goodbye to their hubby/dad.  It was cute -  as dad walked one way, and they walked the other, the little boy took his mom's hand and his little sister's hand and off they walked.  He was stepping up to fill dads shoes!  Godspeed!

Here was another neat thing at the Savannah, GA airport!  When you made a purchase at the gift shops they asked if you'd like to make a donation.  You could pick anything gum, candy, beef jerky, snack mix, nuts, etc.  Then when you donated and paid you would put your donation in the bucket seen below, and then they would take that to the USO, and destribute to the soldiers!  GOD BLESS AMERICA!  : )

Just another reason why I love our country!  Plus, another reason I'm so blessed to call my downline the Patriotic Stampers!

These lovely ladies were there everyday to say hello, pass bikes out, chat, etc.!  Thanks for your help ladies - Angie, KelleSue, & Amy?!

 

OK - I wasn't kidding!  There was the room filled with our bikes!  : ) 

 

Here's dinner!  OK - another WEIRD thing we do - take pics of our dinners!  Yes, this is mine!  I'm the shrimp lover!

Funny thing - we came back to the hotel and saw a bell hop with the pillow gifts!  : )

Hilton Head - Day 2!

 Ok - here's what we woke up too!  How nice is that??  : )

 

At the hospitality desk there were treats for us each day!  YUM!  Cookies and milk!   

 

We took a cab to the South end of the island to Harbour Town.  Went up to the top of the lighthouse.  Great views and peaceful! 

 

We went for a walk on the beach - here we are! 

 

Went to the Boathouse for dinner.  We met a nice couple from Canada - Krista and Art.  We ate dinner with them.  Bummer we didn't get pics with them!  This was my dinner!  YUM! 

I LOVE shrimp! 

 

Tim couldn't wait to eat seafood on this trip!  Here he is with his lobster!  : )

Our Hilton Head Island, SC trip - Day 1!

OK - so if your a SU! Demo or a scrapbooker, you take pics of EVERYTHING!  So here we are coming through the terminal at the Savannah, GA Airport!

 This makes you feel like a real rock star and a VIP!  When we came down the escalator here's what we saw!  LOVE IT!!  : )

 

We took a shuttle to the hotel, and when we got off the shuttle Sara & Sean were there to greet us!  Didn't get that photo opp!  Bummer!  Wasn't expecting that!

When we walked into the hotel, this was waiting for us!

 

This was the view from our room! 

 

These were our breakfast vouchers that we got the 3 days!  We ate there every morning!  Anything you wanted!  Lots of yummy things!  Fresh made the way you liked them omelets!  Fresh fruit, granola, salmon, biscuits & gravy, etc.! 

This cute jar was at the hospitality desk!  Help yourself!  YUM!

 

 

This is where we got our bikes everyday! Great exercise!



 

Here we are on our journey!  We had no idea where we were going, we just rode!  It was nice and peaceful!  Notice the flags on the bikes?  They were SU! flags for the HHI Get Away trip!  : ) 

 

Went to dinner in the hotel at Oceans after a nice long nap!  This was waiting for me when I got back to the room!  I LOVE this bag!  So cute!  THANKS SU!

 

OK - what's a SU! event without swaps??  Two great ladies -  Sara Cimbaro & Christy Kimball organized an amazing swap!  There were 7 groups, each group made a total of 21 swaps, 1 was donated to the ladies, so you came home with 20 swaps!  You could join as many swaps as you wanted to!  I joined 5 of the 7!  I came home with 100 AWESOME swaps!  Thanks to Sara and Christy for organizing it, & thanks to all that participated!  The swaps were great!  : )
